Indonesia has firmly established itself as a powerhouse in the global esports arena, with a dominant performance at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh. During the second week of the prestigious tournament, EVOS Divine clinched the championship title in the Free Fire battle royale, marking a major victory for the nation’s competitive gaming scene.
Held at the Qiddiya Arena in Boulevard Riyadh City, the tournament brought together 18 elite teams from around the world for five days of high-stakes matches. The grand final featured 10 thrilling rounds, with the title race remaining fiercely contested until the very end.
EVOS Divine emerged on top with a commanding 170 points, securing the winner’s shield and earning 1,000 points toward the overall Esports World Cup club rankings.
Indonesia’s dominance didn’t stop there:
- RRQ Kazu took second place with 123 points, adding 750 club points to their tally.
- Bigetron by Vitality claimed third place, collecting 500 points.
Brazil’s LOS rounded out the top four, securing 300 points.
This impressive sweep by Indonesian teams not only highlights the country’s growing influence in the esports world but also reinforces Southeast Asia’s rising presence on the global gaming stage.
