The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervor and enthusiasm at Sri Paripoorna Sanathana Ayurveda Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre.

The programme began with a warm welcome address, extending heartfelt greetings to the dignitaries, faculty, staff, and students. The event was graced by our honorable Chairman Prof. Dr. A. V. Srinivasan Swamiji, respected Trustee CA KS Ramprasad sir, and esteemed Principal Dr. Swagath N, along with esteemed faculty members.
The celebration commenced with the inauguration ceremony, marked by the lighting of the lamp and offering of flowers to the portraits of Bharath Matha and our revered freedom fighters, paying tribute to their sacrifices.
A motivational speech by a student representative inspired the gathering for ‘Naya Bharath’ followed by a patriotic song performed by a group of students, which filled the atmosphere with national pride.
The highlight of the event was the parade march by the college troop, leading to the flag hoisting ceremony by the dignitaries. The National Anthem was sung in unison by all present, resonating with deep patriotism.
This was followed by addresses by the guests, who shared valuable thoughts on the significance of Independence Day. Ashirvachana by Swamiji was delivered in the form of a poem, touching the hearts of the audience.
The gathering then rose for a standing ovation during the rendition of Vandhe Mataram ,Rashtra Geethe , making the moment truly memorable.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. The celebration ended on a sweet note with distribution of sweets to all attendees.
The day’s events not only commemorated India’s freedom struggle but also instilled a renewed sense of responsibility and national pride in the hearts of the participants.
